Hello,

I run a private international practice and work with high-functioning professionals experiencing anxiety, overthinking, attachment-related difficulties, and decision-making under pressure. I hold the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) and am a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist in Armenia.

In addition to individual work, I regularly deliver workshops, professional supervision, and psychological consultations for organizations, primarily within the technology and IT sector, focusing on decision-making under pressure, emotional regulation, burnout prevention, and sustainable performance.

In the United States, including California*, I provide psychological consulting and executive coaching services, drawing on an extensive international clinical background. My work is structured, evidence-based, and focused on long-term psychological stability, clarity of thinking, and self-regulation. My practice is private-pay with limited availability.

I am an International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association, a full member of the Polish Federation for Psychotherapy, Co-Founder of the EMDR Psychoterapists’ Association of Armenia, Vice-President and Co-Founder of the Armenian Scientific-Educational Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ArSEA CBT), and Chief Specialist at Hilfmann Psychological Services.

I work internationally in English, Armenian, Polish, and Russian.

Research Interestes

My main research interests include the neurobiology of anxiety disorders; psychotherapy for anxiety disorders; anger management; psychotherapy for pathological gambling; Bayesian approaches to biological cognitive systems; and the integration of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuroscience, and artificial intelligence. I am the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific articles and papers and nine books  in the fields of personality psychology, psychosemantics, clinical psychology, and psychotherapy.

Clinical Interests

My clinical interests focus primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My work with clients is grounded in a CBT framework, informed by evidence-based and integrative clinical approaches.

Education

I began my education at Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, where I graduated with honours and earned a Diploma of Specialist in Psychology (PsySD), with qualifications in forensic psychology and psychology-pedagogy. I subsequently pursued advanced studies at Adam Mickiewicz University and Poznan University of Medical Sciences, where I earned diplomas with concentrations in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, cognitive science, and neuroscience. I also completed my doctoral studies at Armenian State Pedagogical University, specialising in general psychology, theory and history of psychology, and personality psychology, with a research focus on interpersonal perception and psychosemantics (cognitive semantics).
